HelpNYC
HelpNYC is a Spry-Group internal project in collaboration with Volunteer Match. The project aims to drive civic engagement by showing people what problems afflict their community and empowering them to make a difference.
HelpNYC begins with an interactive map of NYC showing poverty, high school graduation, and English fluency rates in every neighborhood across the city. Once a user selects their neighborhood they’re shown humanized stats about those in their community and given easy ways to volunteer and make a difference in their neighbors’ lives.
